President & Chief Medical Officer

Dr. David Leachman brings 20 years of clinical anesthesia practice and managerial experience to Main Street Anesthesia. His service as Chief Medical Officer of a multi-facility healthcare system, Chief of Anesthesia for a large national anesthesia organization, and Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology has prepared him to lead Main Street Anesthesia's clinical and team initiatives. Dr. Leachman's unique team and service approach builds strong anesthesia teams while promoting patient safety, clinical excellence, exceptional patient service, and compliance with regulatory guidelines. He graduated from and completed his Anesthesia Residency at The University of New Mexico School of Medicine. He also received an MBA from Auburn University.  See Dr. Leachman's full bio here.

Chief Executive Officer

Mike has spent the last 13 years helping hospitals and surgery centers across the country improve anesthesia services and lower their costs.  Before founding Main Street Anesthesia, he helped an anesthesia group in Texas become the fastest growing anesthesia company in the US, growing from 22 sites to 182 sites in 20 states.  Mike is from the Fort Worth, Texas area and is proud to have graduated from Texas Christian University’s M.J. Neeley School of Business with a degree in accounting.  Mike wants Main Street Anesthesia “to offer the highest quality and value in everything we do while being true friends and partners with our clients.” Mike enjoys fishing in the bays on the Texas gulf coast, listening to live music, and wishing he were a good golfer.

Chief Operating Officer

Patrick has spent the majority of his career in the multi-site healthcare services arena as both an Operations and BizDev leader, including PE-backed practice management groups and dental support organizations. He has been responsible for operations across multiple states, managing profit and loss for practices and providing leadership to teams generating as much as 140 million in revenue. Patrick formed and led a team of clinicians and support personnel that doubled the specialty dentistry revenue for a mid-sized DSO in a short 18 months, while also crystallizing systems and processes for 40-plus offices across four cities.  He’s played integral roles in M&A efforts, serving on deal teams that have closed over 80 million in assets, while also spending time securing hospital contracts for anesthesia and urology service lines.  Having a talent for simplifying tasks and revenue drivers for teammates, Patrick is energized by developing a culture that attracts the best employees and provides the best patient experience. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Buffalo and MBA from the University of Texas McCombs School of Business.


Outside of work, Patrick demonstrates a passion for being an active contributor to his community’s overall health and well-being by volunteering as a small group leader at his local church and coaching youth sports teams. He loves spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, hiking, camping, gardening, and watching his kids play sports.


Chief Financial Officer

Shawn has built his career on a service-first mindset in both finance and operations. Having joined Main Street in 2019, Shawn brings experience in financial analysis and reporting, revenue management, data analytics, project management, and “getting stuff done.”  He is energized by enabling people to achieve their highest potential and is known for leading through humor and empathy. Shawn is originally from the great state of Minnesota but moved to Texas as fast has he could. Shawn received his undergraduate degree from Gustavus Adolphus College and his MBA from Texas Christian University’s M.J. Neeley School of Business. He enjoys reading, exploring National Parks, discovering new places to eat, and spending time with his family.

Chief Anesthetist Officer

Alan is a CRNA and presently manages employees, providers and day-to-day hospital operations for Main Street Anesthesia as their chief anesthetist officer. Before working with MSA, Alan served in several roles of leadership and prestige, including chief CRNA at Memorial Medical Center in Las Cruces, NM; ICU charge nurse at Cedars-Sinai in Hollywood, CA and critical care team member.


Alan earned a master’s degree in nursing anesthesia from Westminster College in Salt Lake City, UT to become a CRNA. He completed his clinical rotations in four states: Utah, Texas, California and Wyoming. Committed to excellence, Alan is now pursuing his doctorate in nursing anesthesia practice.


Alan proudly served for four years in the US Navy and was deployed twice to the Persian Gulf in Operation Desert Shield. Growing up in the small town of Apple Springs in the Davy Crockett National Forest of East Texas, Alan was grateful for this opportunity, making it possible for him to see the world and go to college. Alan earned his bachelor’s of science in nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington and was awarded membership in the Sigma Theta Tau International Honors Society of Nursing. While attending university, he worked in a variety of labor-intensive careers, from steel and sawmills to guarding at a maximum-security prison. These experiences instilled in Alan the ‘can-do’ and ‘team-player’ attitudes and the dedicated focus he is known for.


In his spare time, Alan is actively involved in his local church and enjoys hunting, fishing and extreme hiking. He is a father and grandfather and loves spending time with his two precious grandchildren.

Erin Martin
Chief Quality Officer

Erin has over 20 years of experience in hospital operations. She earned a baccalaureate degree from New Mexico State University’s College of Hotel Restaurant Tourism Management, a baccalaureate degree of Nursing from New Mexico State University, and a master’s degree of Healthcare Administration through Oklahoma State University. She also holds professional certifications as a Certified Healthcare Quality Professional and Certified Professional of Patient Safety. She is a Registered Nurse in the state of New Mexico. As a Registered Nurse she had many opportunities to impact patient care, quality outcomes, and patient safety fulfilling multiple roles including bedside nursing, clinical nurse leadership, infection preventionist, pharmacy manager, interim operations manager, survey preparation lead, and program development specialist.


Before joining Main Street, Erin served as the Chief Quality Officer in the acute care setting at MountainView Regional Medical Center in Las Cruces. She was one of six officers leading the system and through her role she had direct oversight for all patient safety and quality initiatives to include outcomes, publicly reported data, program development, and process improvement projects.


Erin and her husband are raising two young sons and are both active in church leadership, youth soccer, youth football, BMX, golf, and just about anything to get out of the house and enjoy the blessings of family and life.
